When Julian Smith, the “Quad Guy,” comes to your gym, what would you train??? Well legs of course! If you know Julian, then you know he’s got some freaky looking legs to go along with his extraordinary approach to training. A very “Tom Platz” inspired style of training with his unique way of squatting and of course the sissy squat.
So I had Julian take me through a sample leg day. I did my best to match his form, but obviously I need to work on some mobility. This by far was one of the best leg days I’ve had in a long time. I’ve trained with some of the top bodybuilders in the world, and this dude fucking impresses me.
Try our workout:
1. Squats (5 sets of 6-8)
2. Stiff Leg Deads (4 sets of 8-10)
3. Walking Lunges (4 sets of 20)
4. Front squats (4 sets of 10/8/6/3-5)
5. Sissy squats (4 sets to failure)
